Neurai AMA — 001
Welcome to the first AMA we’re hosting for Neurai. Our initial goal has always been to be as transparent as possible, addressing any questions about our project and the objectives we aim to achieve. There’s a lot of work ahead, and we’re eager to prepare materials with our teams to showcase the potential of these small devices. We also hope that as we present our test results, you will collaborate with us. These devices are affordable, costing just a little over $20, and can be easily procured to help us with our ongoing activities.
We’ve tried to address all questions, but we’ve omitted repeated ones, those regarding exchanges, and those generated by chatgpt or similar that were vague and unrelated to the current state of the project.
We’re here for the long haul, and we hope that you’ll be with us for the journey as well.
Did you plan to do an identity reveal to clear out some unknown? / velotaf
We cannot disclose our identities at this time due to potential conflicts with our current employers. However, we try to introduce ourselves when the time is right, as our goal is to establish a company that uses the services we are developing in Neurai.
In the future, we hope to have a larger team and be able to scale to other levels” any eta when the team (XNA) will scale to other levels? 2023 or 2024? / GonzoMiner
Neurai will consist of several phases, and in the initial phase where we are now, our goal is to lay a foundation that attracts developers to our project. At this point, it’s essential to document and share our idea with others who want to explore our same vision. We don’t have a precise date for when something will happen, but we are confident that as we discover parts of our project, it will be easier to attract new talents.
How long was the Neurai project in plan and preparation before officially deciding to launch? / Olmeccah
About 3 years ago, with the expanding knowledge of blockchain in general, we thought it might be interesting to apply our experience to small electronic devices that we used, like the ESP32. These are compact devices with good connectivity and enough power to carry out small but powerful actions. We never really got anywhere with it and always talked about it, but last year, we wanted to take a leap and apply what we had in mind something like Ethereum or BNB. The challenge we faced was that we would be 100% dependent on these chains. This can be good or bad, but you’re tied to that space.
Additionally, there’s the problem that the currency for Neurai would be a token, and its distribution would never be fair. What we did was to search for a well-known chain that was secure, with assets, like PoW, and ASIC-resistant. This is why we came across Ravencoin, which has all the right ingredients and also boasts good developers who could help our chain effortlessly. We ran several tests on the testnet with the currency distribution modifications we wanted to implement, where our idea was to introduce micro-halvings to make the distribution more dynamic and to have approximately 50% of the coins distributed after 1 year.”
What are the best usecases for Neurai in the IoT field & what type of partnerships do you plan to increase Neurai activity onchain? / julianst24
Our initial goal is to create a set of tools and documentation that simplify the integration of ESP32 devices into our chain, allowing developers to decide what to do with what we come up with . In some cases, you may be able to use AI in your projects, while in others, you might not need it. The same goes for using assets or not;at the end, it all depends on the developer’s needs.
We created a thread on Twitter where we explained how something simple can become very powerful. This is by using the blockchain to store an encrypted facial pattern with a private key, thus allowing others to access the pattern by validating their identification.
https://twitter.com/neuraiproject/status/1676281508984659979
To increase the network’s usage, there must be an actual use for the chain. We understand that 99% of the population doesn’t care about what blockchain is; they just want a solution to a problem they have. This is where we aim to step in with devices and software that make using our chain transparent. Users shouldn’t need advanced knowledge of any kind: buy, set up in a few steps, and use it . This may sound easy to say, but it will be a focal point we’ll strongly emphasize when the time comes.
Hello team when mining device?? / deeparanoya
We hope never to deviate from this. Our vision is to maintain a 100% PoW chain without the possibility of creating machines specifically for mining. GPU machines are an excellent option. Furthermore, in the future, we could change to a superior algorithm without penalizing miners.
When will all information be verified by cmc? Such as market cap and the rest / Moa
CMC and Coingecko have minimum requirements to display the MCap, which is why many projects don’t show it. The criteria aren’t entirely clear, but from what we’ve gathered, it’s necessary to have several exchanges with good daily trading volume, multiple trading pairs, and also active social media presence. We hope this will be resolved soon, but it’s out of our hands. However, we’re keeping an eye on it.
Is the team working on Neurai full time or do you guys have other jobs? What kind? / Djang𝕏
Currently, the three of us who founded the project have full-time jobs, but Asimov works remotely ( part time )and his role allows him to be more attentive to social media. Additionally, he has experience in this area and is the most sociable of the three. Our goal is to have something tangible to work with in Neurai and to establish a company that offers services for our project, allowing us to dedicate 100% of our time.
The update verision 1.0.2 please explain what made that need to happen right after bitcointalk announcment. Also how that affected mining for those new arriving / Fróðr
We have been updating Neurai’s code consistently from the beginning , but with minor updates that didn’t affect the network. When we introduced Neurai on Bitcointalk, we noticed a problem that could lead to a serious issue in the future. When you generate assets, you have to burn a certain amount of coins. In reality, these go to addresses defined in the code. Depending on the type of activity you perform with them, they go to one address or another. In our tests, we used a single address and forgot to change it when publishing the code. We quickly rectified this and created a fork for the new version. All of this can be seen on GitHub.

Why is a blockchain even needed? / Bubblegum Lightning
Looking back through history, humans have always sought ways to ensure immutability, whether through signatures on paper, seals, uniquely minted coins, or some centralized authority verifying what is true or not. Trust is essential for business transactions, and an anonymous individual named Satoshi found a way to achieve immutability with Bitcoin, leveraging previously existing software. This is undoubtedly one of the century’s most significant discoveries.
In Neurai, we also have assets, which allow for the secure use of NFTs or Tokens on the network. Their immutability ensures that the information embedded within them will not change over time, and the longer the time passes, the more secure that information becomes. This is no small feat; it’s crucial to guarantee the information used at any given moment without needing to trust a third party.
What makes XNA stand out over other up and coming AI projects? // ScarTalon
Our vision of using AI is more grounded and, in its initial phase, focused on the various software we encounter for microcontrollers. This software allows the analysis of data captured by IoT devices to achieve the desired result. Neurai’s blockchain will ensure immutability regarding how one wishes to use that information, enabling its application in various ways.
What are you doing different or unique from the other projects? // ScarTalon
We don’t know every project out there, but we have experience in electronics, and this is an aspect we haven’t seen deeply integrated into any other project, most only touch on it superficially. We aim to create and offer genuine Open Source hardware that can be purchased or built by anyone. Whether a company in the Netherlands, Brazil, or Thailand wants to use our network, they won’t need to ask for permission or buy specific hardware. They can build using our templates or create their own. Without limitations.
Why choose XNA over them? // ScarTalon
The previous answer might answer this question.
Can you explain your background and prior experience in blockchain, artificial intelligence, and IoT? // Dr.Dee
The three of us have been working with electronic devices, telecommunications, software, and AI for the industry for over 10 years. Some of us have more experience in one field, and others in different ones, but we all share a common vision for what we want to achieve with Neurai. Where we lack extensive experience is in blockchain, and that’s where Asimov and other developers have stepped in to help the project implement the changes we’ve made to the Ravencoin code we’ve used.
Undoubtedly, incorporating developers with blockchain experience is crucial for our progress, and we keep that in mind all the time
Is xna fair launch or there’s some pre mined? // Buterflee
There was no premining. However, there were only a few miners until the project gained attention after our announcement on Bitcointalk. We initially announced it in one of our tweets, and it wasn’t until we set up the mining pool at the end of April that we saw a significant increase of miners.

In the event of a quantum hack, how will it affect Xna? // cha
There’s a lot of talk about the advancement of quantum computers, but for now, it’s still a distant prospect. It’s so distant that it might never come to pass, given that as power increases, so does instability. Nevertheless, if, in a hypothetical scene, this were to happen, the issue wouldn’t just be with Neurai or cryptocurrencies. The real problem would be with the global financial and communication systems that use similar algorithms, exposing worldwide information to anyone.
Any steps taken by the team to address this issue? // cha
We know that there are efforts to find algorithms that offer sufficient protection against these quantum computers, but using them would be a mistake due to the high energy consumption they entail. If we ever approach that undesired moment, we would migrate the entire blockchain to this new algorithm
Do you have any advisors, partners or investors onboard yet who can provide expertise and resources? // ajnashgrey
We constantly seek new partners who align with our vision of the ecosystem, such as the recent announcement with Fluxlabs. This partnership allows us to deploy Neurai applications on their decentralized cloud, and in the future, it will ensure that anyone in the world can access and use our applications under their control.
https://twitter.com/neuraiproject/status/1688886078114029568
Several individuals with experience in other blockchains have joined our team to assist with the blockchain aspect. We also hope that the community itself will help us with areas where we might need a different perspective.
Do you have a minimum viable product, testnet, or any code repositories you can point to that demonstrate progress so far? // ajnashgrey
We are in the initial phase, and everything we have will be on our GitHub. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements.
Where are you from? // Kidslovetoplay
The founders are European, and we hope that individuals from other parts of the world can join our project. We believe in a global, uncensored network where anyone can create and deploy their projects. It should never matter who uses our network or where they are from.
How are the tokenomics of Neurai being used to help with marketing of the project. //Spud
Tokenomics in Neurai has no impact in the marketing field. We spend our own money and funds we’ve earned from other blockchain projects. We have created a series of addresses to receive donations in the form of XNA, allowing us to use these coins for further development, in this case, aided by the community at their discretion, this can be found on our website.
Will you be developing any custom IoT devices? // dayo2025
We plan to release several specific hardware devices for our project that will be an open source, allowing anyone to use and modify them. We will start with prototypes and then design the board and the components to be used. From there, we’ll develop specific software for them. The hardware we plan to create will be based on ESP32 and can be updated on a website, without needing to download additional software.
For IoT connectivity, what communication protocols will you support? // dayo2025
For now, we haven’t determined which communication protocol to use for the communication between the IoT devices. We will use LoRa to connect devices in open fields and allow them to interconnect with each other. We’ll use WiFi for internet connectivity, and Bluetooth and NFC for mobile connections. As we conduct laboratory tests, we’ll see how we adapt to this, but our focus will always be on trying to use open protocols.
Random AI questions // dayo2025
We are open to any existing software and model. However, as with any startup project, we’ll initially focus on well-documented platforms like TensorFlow Lite, TinyML, ONNX, and Pytorch.
How do you plan to sustain the project? // chairmo
Neurai was conceived with the idea of being self-sufficient. In the initial phase, we will produce documentation and basic software for testing, aiming to attract developers to our project. In subsequent phases, we’ll elevate our goal by seeking specific hardware for specific activities, hoping for a gradual real-world use of the network. Once the network achieves a certain level of self-sufficiency, it will establish a balance between the need to purchase coins to use the network and mining activities. In our case, we hope to establish a company that offers services on Neurai and profit from it.
It will be good if we use token as game currency in several games, how about your think guys? // assassin
Neurai is open and can be used in any way for anyone in a free way. If someone wants to create a platform to sell NFTs using the Neurai network, they can do so freely since creating NFTs is possible. If someone wishes to create their own tokenized currency, they can do it freely because it’s possible.
Regarding using our chain for games, we do have plans to develop a basic game with ESP32 and a screen in the future, but we’ll reveal more information when we have something more concrete.
Are there plans for other (in-house?) wallets development, especially for mobile, similarly to kaspa or nexa // Djang𝕏
Of course. Providing various ways to store Neurai coins is a concern we take seriously and always keep in mind. On one hand, we aim to have an open web wallet that can be used on both mobile and desktop. We have an example of this on our GitHub, but it’s not fully functional yet.
https://github.com/NeuraiProject/neurai-webwallet
We also want to be included in hardware wallets that follow the BIP39 standard and are interoperable. We have the Ledger application ready for integration, but it requires being in the top 600 on CMC. We’ve reached out to OneKey, but haven’t received a response yet. We’re not interested in hardware solutions that mandate using their devices for backups, even if some are popular
Seeing that your focus can be summarized as being PoW + AI + IoT + NFT which is a very big industry how do you intend to differentiate yourself from the previous industry project like IOTX focused on this area? // Mayor
Our emphasis is on open-hardware, encompassing a diverse range of devices that can connect to our network. This includes personal and home devices, industrial and enterprise tools, vehicles, farms, and even games. Our foundation lies in fostering an ecosystem of varied devices that are open-source, aiming to attract hardware developers to our initiative. Additionally, we operate on our own blockchain, eliminating the reliance on an external chain that could potentially face censorship or have limitations compelling us to shift elsewhere. If Neurai requires an upgrade, we have the flexibility to implement it and tailor it to our specific needs.
Furthermore, we firmly believe that a PoW chain is the most viable solution. This, combined with our commitment to resist specialized mining equipment like ASICs, remains our primary focus.
Do you think Neurai can find a place with novel tech product like the the recent breakthrough with superconductors like LK-99 to build with the trend? // Mayor
Technological advancements typically take many years before they gain widespread adoption among the general public. This was an evidence with graphene as a game-changer years ago, yet the reality is that achieving mass-market penetration is often challenging.
We are hard workers, with experience in this field ( electronics ) so our aim is to link these three technologies because we certainly know they will bring a change in a future.
What is GPG:E048 Baab, how will this work? // 1t_v_
The GPG key we have on Twitter is the same one we use to sign the code on Github and the executables for our wallets. This ensures the code comes from us. You can view the complete public key here.
How does XNA intend to distinguish itself from the already saturated POW and AI space // SaneBrainBox0412
We understand that when there’s a trend, many projects often emerge around it, saturating the market and leading to a potential bubble burst. Our approach is different given our extensive experience in IoT devices, and we are dedicated to championing a genuine Open Source model for our developments.
We also have experience in the field of AI for industries, and our aim is to start using AI for microcontrollers. While they might not be as grand as OpenAI or Midjourney, they are powerful when it comes to processing the data that IoT devices can generate. However, only time will truly answer this question.
When xna can keep on ledger, thanks // kojai5g
We have the Ledger application ready for integration, but it requires being in the top 600 on CMC
Do you think about the implementation of Masternodes with a collateral of 1millons or 2M of XNA not burned just blocked like stacked going 50% to mining 40% to MN for example help to maintain more secure the blockchain against 51% attack // GGANSTERCAT
History has shown us that using masternodes can be problematic due to the complexity of the software that governs them. Over time, there have been multiple hacks in currencies that employ this model, which concerns us. Additionally, masternodes tend to reward those who already hold large amounts of coins, leading to disproportionate inflation.
We genuinely believe that, for now, PoW is the best system to ensure a fairer distribution and enhanced network security. Until something comparably effective emerges, we’ll continue in this direction. However, we might experiment with a token on Neurai where, by locking up certain tokens, one could receive something in return. But this would be purely experimental.
Any timeframe to contact some big pools like woolypooly y herominers or 2miners // GGANSTERCAT
We’ve reached out to woolypooly multiple times, but they’ve indicated that they’re not planning to add more coins to their pool. As for other exchanges, we’re not familiar with all of them, but you can certainly contact them and request that Neurai be added to their platform.
Any deflationary idea 💡 to share with us // GGANSTERCAT
Achieving monetary balance is challenging. To ensure that network usage benefits the ecosystem, we believe that burning coins for asset usage is a great idea. For now, burning XNA is required to create NFTs or Tokens.
One massive useful utilization to maintain and increase the price over the time apart from cutting emission slowly // GGANSTERCAT
When we incorporate Neurai ID, this burn rate will increase, possibly leading to a reduction in circulating coins over time.
Does xna have a planned road map? // oubi
Once we complete the whitepaper, we plan to create an adaptive roadmap. As the months have passed, we’ve already made several changes to our original plans.
Thank you for making it to the end, and we hope we’ve addressed many of your concerns with our answers. If anyone feels a response could be improved, feel free to ask us on Discord or Telegram, and we’ll expand on it in this same medium.
